I am currently going into my seventh year of teaching middle school social studies.  Currently, I am in my second year within Ionia, Michigan teaching 8th grade United States history at the wonderful, Ionia Middle School.  I also am the varsity golf coach for Ionia High School.  Previous to teaching in Ionia, I taught at Burton Glen Charter Academy in Flint, MI and Latta Middle School in Latta, SC.  When not teaching, or coaching, I spend much of my time with my amazing wife, Danielle and dog, Bailey.  Over the summer I pretend to be a part-time farmer in the half of a field that my wife likes to call a garden.  When out of the garden, we enjoy travelling, boating, playing golf, doing anything that involves being outside, attending sporting events and concerts.
